Business tax returns
Night Ledger prepares returns for S corporations, C corporations and partnerships, from 4 PM to 2 AM Pacific, Monday through Saturday, and seven days a week during tax season.
Which business returns do you prepare?
- S corporations — Form 1120-S, including the Schedule K-1 each shareholder receives
- Partnerships and multi-member LLCs — Form 1065, including partner K-1s
- C corporations — Form 1120
An Enrolled Agent prepares and reviews every business return. If you’re a sole proprietor or single-member LLC, your business goes on your personal return instead. See self-employed taxes.
Why evening hours matter for business owners
Because business doesn’t sleep, and it rarely stops at five. The hours you’d need to sit down with a tax professional are usually the hours you’re running the business. We’re open from 4 PM to 2 AM, so the conversation can happen after close.
When are business returns due?
For a business on a calendar year:
- S corporations and partnerships: March 15
- C corporations: April 15
An extension gives a business six more months to file, but not more time to pay any tax owed. When a date falls on a weekend or holiday, it moves to the next business day. See tax extensions.
What if the business is behind on its returns?
We prepare prior-year business returns too. See back taxes.
When can I book?
Appointments open soon. They will run from 4 PM to 2 AM Pacific, Monday through Saturday. During tax season, appointments are available seven days a week. In the meantime, our FAQ answers the questions people ask most.
